Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 3, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how KJL Resources ("KJL Resources," "we," "us") collects, uses and shares personal information through kjlresources.com (the "Site"). It applies only to the Site. Information you share with us as a client under an engagement is governed by that engagement.
Information we collect
Information you give us
When you use our contact form, we collect:
- your name
- your email address
- your phone number
- the contents of your message, and anything you choose to include in it
Please do not include sensitive financial information, such as account numbers or tax identification numbers, in the contact form.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically receives technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the date and time of your visit. This information is used to deliver the Site, keep it secure and prevent abuse, such as limiting repeated form submissions.
Website analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics, provided by our hosting provider, to count page views and see which pages are useful. It records information such as the page visited, the referring website, and your general location, device type and browser. It does not use cookies and does not identify you by name, and we do not use it to build profiles of individual visitors.
The Site does not use advertising or cross-site tracking technologies, and does not allow third parties to collect information about your online activities over time or across other websites.
How we use information
- to respond to your inquiry and communicate with you about our services
- to operate, maintain and secure the Site
- to understand, in aggregate, how visitors use the Site so we can improve it
- to comply with legal obligations and protect our rights
We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling.
How we share information
We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only with service providers that help us run the Site and respond to you, and only for those purposes:
- our website hosting provider, which serves the Site, processes technical information and provides our website analytics
- our transactional email provider, which delivers contact form submissions to our inbox
- our business email provider, where we receive and keep your message
We may also disclose information if required by law, to respond to legal process, to protect the rights, property or safety of KJL Resources or others, or in connection with a sale or reorganization of our business.
How long we keep information
We keep contact form messages for as long as needed to respond to you and to maintain our business records, and then delete them. Our service providers keep technical logs and message delivery records for limited periods under their own retention settings.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect information, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections to the Site. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct it or delete it by contacting us using the details below. We will not discriminate against you for making a request. We may need to verify your identity before acting on it.
If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under California law, including the California Consumer Privacy Act where it applies. You may also use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.
Do Not Track
Some browsers send "Do Not Track" or Global Privacy Control signals. The Site does not track visitors across other websites, does not sell or share personal information, and uses only cookieless, aggregate analytics, so these signals do not change how the Site works.
Children
The Site is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and change the "Last updated" date above.
